  • Trim the fat from your beef, then place it in the freezer for 1-2 hours.
  • Cut the beef into slices no more than ¼ inch thick, slicing against or across the grain.
  • Mix all marinade ingredients together.
  • Combine beef and marinade in a container or Ziploc bag, then place in the fridge for 6-24 hours.
  • Remove excess liquid from beef with a paper towel.
  • Dry the beef in a food dehydrator, oven, or electric smoker at 160 degrees F for 4-8 hours or until slices bend and crack without snapping.
